In unserer kleinen Serie verfolgen wir den Eninger Eugen Bazlen auf seiner Reise von Europa nach Nordamerika. Nach damaligen Massstäben muss der Anblick auf die Skyline von New-York für einen "Land-Bewohner" ganz ordentlich Eindruck gemacht haben. In der heutigen Zeit sind uns durch Fernsehen und Internet die Ansichten der grossen Städte ja bekannt; zur Zeit um 1905 stellte so eine Ansicht in "Echt" sicherlich einen kleinen Kulturschock dar. Nun, jedenfalls schickte unser Eugen eine dreiteilige Panorama-Karte von "New-York City" nach Eningen - ohne viel Worte ausser "Gruß Eugen!"
Sicherlich ein bemerkenswertes Stück, zumal noch komplett erhalten (der Versatz von der linken zur mittleren Karte rührt lediglich her von der Montage nach dem Scannen).
